This years 2019 preseason schedule for the Baltimore Ravens will be one less game than last year and a lot less mileage for the team to have to cover, since they will never have to board a flight once. Instead, last year’s AFC North champions will only have to jump on a bus to head to neighboring Washington, D.C. and hop on a bus to travel up to Philadelphia during the final two postseason games.
They will host their first preseason game here in Baltimore on Thursday, August 8th against the Jacksonville Jaguars, before welcoming the Green Bay Packers the following Thursday, August 15th also at M&T Bank Stadium. They will then travel to Philadelphia on August 22nd before heading over to the nation’s capital on August 29th for their final tune-up game.
This seems to be a welcome relief for coaches and players who weren’t too thrilled about having to play in a fifth preseason game last year, participating in the Hall of Fame game in Canton, Ohio. They will host two joint practices against both the Jaguars and the Eagles, and will look to extend their 13-straight winning streak during the preseason dating back to 2016. The Ravens will get to see their full schedule later this month when the NFL reveals the 2019 regular season schedule, but they will not face any of their preseason foes during the season.
